ESD Heel and Toe grounders are a good alternative to wrist straps when personnel can not be "tied" to a workbench. Workers who move around in the work area and who need to be grounded, cannot wear a wrist strap that grounds them to a workbench with a coil cord. Foot grounders function exactly the same way as wrist straps by providing a ground path from the moisture layer on the wearer's skin through the foot grounder to the grounded floor surface.
